Baruh Polis

Dr. Baruh Polis is a neuroscientist whose work bridges fundamental brain research and translational medicine. He earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in neuroscience, where he focused on developing novel therapeutic strategies for Alzheimer’s disease, and later completed postdoctoral training at Yale University School of Medicine, investigating neural mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders. Since 2025, Dr. Polis has served as a Senior Research Associate at the Technion, overseeing scientific coordination and research development within two European Union–funded consortia dedicated to advancing early diagnostic tools for cancer and schizophrenia.
