Yoav Broza

Dr. Yoav Broza received his B.Sc. degree (cum laude) in the Technion’s Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering in 2003. He received his Ph.D degree (direct track) in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the same institute in 2009. Yoav is a project leader and the head of the biological team focusing on cell culture and single cell analysis of volatile metabolites using analytical and sensor based systems. His current research focuses on the use of sensor array systems and analytical systems for volatile organic compound analysis and profiling of illnesses such as cancer, neurological, and infectious diseases, as well as homeland security and the food industry.
