Dr. Debdatta Panigrahi received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India in 2019, where he focused his research on improving the electrical and optical performances of the organic field effect transistors. He then joined National Institute for Materials Science, Japan as a postdoctoral researcher in 2020, where he worked on developing flexible and optically controllable multi-valued logic circuits and logic-in-memory devices. In 2021, he was awarded the JSPS postdoctoral fellowship. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Hossam Haick, where he is working on the development of smart dust devices for wide-spectrum detection of chemical compounds.
