Rotem Vishinkin (Ermanok) received her B.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in 2012. Rotem joined the group of Prof. Haick in July 2011, during her B.Sc. research project on field effect transistors of silicon nanowires. She finished her Ph.D studies in the Department of Chemical Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Haick in 2019. Her current research interests include detection and identification of disease related volatile biomarkers, especially emitted from the skin, using analytical methods and nano-arrays of chemical sensors, and development of gold nanoparticles based sensors for sensing applications.
