Rawan Omar

Rawan received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Cum Laude) from the Department of Biotechnology Engineering, Technion – Israeli Institute of Technology in 2017. She then worked as a Chemical Analyst at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Rawan joined Prof. Haick’s group in 2019, as a PhD student of The Norman Seiden Multidisciplinary Graduate Program in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.Since August 2023, Dr. Omar serves as a postdoctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Hossam Haick. Her research focuses on the development of smart sensors for biomedical and environmental applications.
